MDstewardship Launches New Website! Delivering Antimicrobial Stewardship Resources During Critical Times
(Omaha, Nebraska) – MDstewardship is the region’s premium provider of antimicrobial stewardship digital health services. As the pinnacle provider of virtual infectious disease treatment, MDstewardship has launched a new website to streamline access to vital information, resources, and telehealth solutions.
As a team of Infectious Disease Physicians and Clinical Pharmacists, MDstewardship provides comprehensive Infectious Disease support for healthcare facilities of all sizes. Hospitals, especially those in rural areas, often lack the resources needed to diagnose and treat infectious diseases swiftly and accurately, which can lead to ineffective use of antibiotics.
The new website platform launched by MDstewardship offers a variety of digital features to further telemedicine services and antimicrobial stewardship practices. Hospitals and clinics can access a vast library of educational materials and research even if they are not a practicing partner of MDstewardship telehealth services.
“Education is our greatest passion at MDstewardship,” states Dr. John Horne, Co-Founder and CEO of MDstewardship. “We believe every healthcare provider should have access to resources regardless of if they use our telehealth services. Hospitals across the country are battling COVID-19, variants, and other highly infectious illnesses, so we view it as our responsibility to provide the latest information and procedures to attribute to care, effectively and efficiently.”
By increasing access to educational resources, MDstewardship hopes to help hospitals find the information they need to combat infectious diseases.
Horne continues, “By giving hospitals the ability to request specific topics and speakers for seminars, we can better understand the immediate needs of hospitals across the country. It not only helps us provide the necessary resources, but it provides us an indication of areas within antimicrobial stewardship to focus on for future innovations.”
Through advancing resources and telemedicine services, healthcare facilities can access critical information to improve diagnoses, treatments, and patient outcomes.
