Dr. John Horne attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He serves as an Infectious Disease Staff Physician at CHI Health Center in Omaha. He is also an Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease at Creighton University. With a passion for antimicrobial stewardship, Dr. Horne provides on-going education to clinicians regarding antibiotic resistance and appropriate use.

Dr. Sumaya Ased is a clinical pharmacist with training in Antimicrobial Stewardship. She attended pharmacy school at Creighton University, where she earned her PharmD. She has been practicing antimicrobial stewardship since 2015. Dr. Ased is a Board-Certified Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (BCPS) and has an Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate through the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacist (SIDP). She serves as the lead pharmacist for MDstewardship.
